Non-Surgical Root Canal Therapy

Removal of diseased pulp tissue from the tooth to alleviate pain and infection. Dr. Nieves will work with you to discuss treatment options and get you on track with the best root canal therapy possible.

Root Canal Retreatment

Treatment for prior root canal treatments that may have become infected or are causing discomfort. If you are having tooth pain in an area where you had a previous root canal procedure, we can help make sure it is retreated properly.

Apicoectomy

Saving a tooth from a previous root canal that failed using a specialized surgical procedure. In this procedure, Dr. Nieves removes the tip of the root (the apex) to prevent infection.

 

Root Amputation

Removal of a damaged root on a molar tooth while protecting tooth’s other roots.

Cracked Tooth Management

Diagnosis and treatment for cracked or chipped teeth, or teeth that are causing pain and discomfort. Dr. Nieves will discuss your treatment options to make sure future issues with cracked teeth are prevented.

GentleWave® Procedure

An alternative to standard root canal therapy, we use a combination of fluid dynamics and broad range soundwaves to clean and disinfect the root canal system. This state-of-the-art system has been shown to a minimally-invasive way to get a more thorough clean of the root canal.
